June photos perfect for future listings

Now is the perfect time of the year to take some quality exterior photos of your property to have on file for a future listing.  Yards and gardens look their best right now, before the summer heat takes its toll.

Having a good supply of photos on file is very useful for anyone who may end up wishing to list their home between Oct and the end of April when things are definitely not as pretty as they are now.  It really helps prospective buyers get a feel for a property, if they can see evidence of what their outdoor space will look like in peak season, especially for winter sales.

A tableful or binder of high quality colour photos provides a welcome contrast and will have buyers thinking ahead to being able to enjoy the property.  Well cared for properties will also be to demonstrate that via the photos, as yards buried under 3 feet of snow cannot.

Treed yards will look much more private when the trees are in leaf and decks and patios will have a buyer thinking of summer BBQ’s or social activities to come.  Gardens in full bloom will also have buyers looking forward to ownership by seeing what awaits them upon moving in.  If a home has a swimming pool or other key outdoor features these will also help sell the property.

So get the outdoor space tuned up and snap away!  Picture perfect photos really help sell listings and unfortunately we have 6 months out of the year when outdoor photos do not represent a property in its best condition.
